Kartagener Syndrom

The Kartagenr Syndrom it's the congenital inversion of internal organs in the Primary ciliary dyskinesia. We are alright at the mirror. The cure isn't specific for the cliary that don't move, the terapy it's the seme of cystic fibrosis, but isn't correct for the disease.
Obviously I was born with the inverted organs, but the doctors have noticed the problem only when I was 3 years old (at the time the X-ray plates did not have straight and reverse and therefore were turned to the "right"), bronchial infections by now had already taken over.
Apart from the recurrent inflammatory states due to sinusitis, chronic bronchitis and fevers, I have led a rather normal life. If I do not say I have the syndrome, people certainly do not imagine how my internal organs really do, but think that I have a cold or something like that. Only in the mature age I understood to be lucky because the inverted organs did not always have a complete reversal, obviously creating problems. Not having received precise explanations at the beginning I thought the problem was just the inverted organs but I realized that they are the symptom of ciliary disnecia: the cilia do not move or have little movement, it seems that while the fetus is formed do not turn from the right side (the left) the components that will form the person, but it does not know how, turn to the right and here's how we are born a little 'special. As these famous ciliary that do not move or move little, do not do their duty to remove the infectious angents (bacteria and viruses) allow infections to take the upper hand

When I explain all this, people look at me in disbelief and think I'm making fun of them
