After Surgery when out of hospital after bone transplant
How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?
It did to start with as I had really foul breath and was not nice for other people but husband left me before op .turned out better for me as I only had me to look after .immediate family were a godsend .
What things have you stopped doing?
Nothing once recovered after op
What do you think about the future?
Reassured by surgeon all gone and mended well so I carry on normally
So far, which years have been the best years in your life? What have you done during them?
The first few years after Surgery I felt really good with all the attention I was having I kept fit and well
What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?
My condition hasn't affected my life style at all
If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?
Life is good with room for improvement ! ( age and injury made me gain weight and unfit
Finally, what advice would you give to a person in a similar situation?
Just take the advice your surgeon and team tell you and learn from others that it not all bad
