Story about Cerebral Palsy .

LIVING A CHALLENGED LIFE TO THE FULLEST.

Dec 22, 2018

By: Chi

Year Condition Began: 1967

My name is Chinwe Iromuanya (Chi Chi Iro) I live a full life with Cerebral Palsy. I am 51 years old and I am the mother of four Sons ( All are biological Sons, just in case you are wondering, if someone living with Cerebral palsy can have Children)
I was born in Nigeria in 1967, at a time that people living with disabilities were misunderstood. My country was at war at the time and there were very little opportunities for me then but my mother could tell I was different from my siblings.

I had the love of my family, especially my mother. Though she did not know what was wrong with me at the time, she believed she could teach me how to function like other children in the family. I must say she succeeded.

I am an unapologetic dreamer, that has been able to overcome the challenges of disbility by dreaming, laughing and daring.
I challenge the myth, that people living with disabilities cannot make good spouses, I have been married to my husband for 25 years and our marriage thrives with my uniqueness.

I use my facebook page, under the name Chi Chi Iro to motivate others to live life to the fullest.
I run the Enabled life Organization in Allen, Texas and on the face book page "The Enabled life Organization."

On my personal page, I cover several topics from parenting, motivation, relationship to just life.

I am a published author, health coach, motivational speaker and a lawyer of 30 years from Nigeria.

My belief is that, normal does not exist. We can each create our normal and learn how to function in it.
