Cystinuria prognosis

What is the prognosis if you have Cystinuria? Quality of life, limitations and expectatios of someone with Cystinuria.

For me, my prognosis is fair. As long as I follow doctor orders and stay well hydrated, I can maintain fewer large stone occurrences. I have a sluggish left kidney, which could be a problem in the future. It is a chronic, progressive condition, meaning that there is no cure, and it does not look to improve.

If hydronephrosis and infection are treated within reasonable time, the prognosis is good.
