How did all start?

The loss of the sight in one of my eyes after my first born child.

Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?

Yes I was Diganosed in 2008 with MS and then Re-diagnosed in 2014 with NMO

For what medical specialties have you been treated? What has been the most useful specialty for your?

finding a great Neurologist

What has been the most useful thing for you so far?

Retuximab has been my life saver

What have been your biggest difficulties?

Learning how to tell when my body needs rest.

How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?

Yes very much so, I don’t like to go out often and prefer to be at home.

What things have you stopped doing?

I have stopped playing sports

What do you think about the future?

I’m a little scared about my future

So far, which years have been the best years in your life? What have you done during them?

The best years in my life were raising my children. I have been very grateful to still be here and able to walk.

What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?

Travel the world

If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?

I am stronger than I think.

Finally, what advice would you give to a person in a similar situation?

Don’t be afraid to ask for help or a second opinion.
