All About Me

Jan 6, 2016

By: Kirsty

When I was born, I was a very flexible baby, My mummy and daddy didnt understand why, I undertook numerous tests to find out that I had no hips, I had to have my legs stretched, and had to have 7 operations on my hips, I was 18 months old and I was a fighter! I am honestly lucky to be walking now! I have so many problems but I fight them, I am in university and I am amazing with children! I cant wait to have my own! I want to say to all you people reading this, you are strong! dont ever think "oh im giving up" because I'm 21 and ive wanted to multiple times, because my doctors dont know what to do with me! dont ever let anyone get you down! always look at yourself and think yeah! I'm going through alot, I look fine on the outside but I'm in agony on the inside, and think, I really am strong! you are all fighters and i anyone would like to ask me a question about my EDS then go ahead :) I'm always happy to listen :)
