How did all start?

Lower back pain and tingling in my toes.

Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?

GBS and CIDP. 3 weeks and 8 weeks.

For what medical specialties have you been treated? What has been the most useful specialty for your?

GBS and CIDP?? Not sure I understand the question.

What has been the most useful thing for you so far?

I.V.I.G.

What have been your biggest difficulties?

When I could no longer walk.

How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?

Mostly positive.

What things have you stopped doing?

Working like an idiot. Long, stressful, hours without a lot of sleep.

What do you think about the future?

I'd like to be in a long term remission or find out that I have been misdiagnosed.

So far, which years have been the best years in your life? What have you done during them?

20s, 30, 40s,..... surfed.

What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?

It does not greatly prohibit me.

If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?

I loved to surf, but knew I had to work too.

Finally, what advice would you give to a person in a similar situation?

Live to the fullest today, because you don't know what tomorrow will bring.
