Story about Guillain-Barre Syndrome .

My husband has Guillian Barre Syndrome

Sep 10, 2017

By: Ashley

Year Condition Began: 2017

My husband was diagnosed on the 15th April 2017. He is still on life support and tracheotomy still. His movements are his head, eyes, mouth, neck and shoulders. There has been no other improvements or movements since the beginning of July. His biggest hurdle at the moment is weaning off the ventilator. He is managing 5 minutes a day, although there are days cannot do that. Last week he had a chest infection but that has now cleared.
