Come get to know me.

HELLO, MY NAME IS SUSAN MECCA URBANCZYK.

A little about me. I contracted Lyme in '89. I had the classic bulls eye rash, fever..etc. Of course in those days they knew less than they know now. I was told I had ringworm and a virus. The Lyme took off during my pregnancy with my daughter and has progressed since then - for over twenty two years.

I AM A WRITER, DESIGNER, LIFE COACH, ANIMAL COMMUNICATOR, REIKI PRACTITIONER AND POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT TRAINER (DOGS AND HORSES). I HAVE SPENT MY LIFE WITH HORSES WORKING WITH THE ABUSED AND CAST OFF. I HAVE ALSO WORKED WITH HORSES AND THE HANDICAPPED. BOTH MY HORSES WORK THERAPEUTICALLY WITH PEOPLE.

I do not believe illness is a curse but a gift that teaches us lessons we are meant to learn. The body is a mirror of our inner thoughts and beliefs. I feel that illness has brought me to my life's path;  to the center of wisdom that is in each one of us that waits until we begin to access it. My personal commitment is " To bring happiness, love, healing and light to animals and humans alike."

I have been working on an idea for a healing place different from others. I am callling it Aloha Farms. The real meaning of Aloha in Hawaiian is that of "Love, Peace, and Compassion". It also means "Life's  energy breath"  and a "Joyfully sharing of life".  A life of Aloha is one where the heart is so full it is overflowing with the ability to influence others around you with your spirit. I want this for people that feel as if their life is now lost to illness. Aloha Farms will be a place of healing, education and sanctuary for people and animals. The mssion is to create lives people love. Sick or well. Only then do I believe the path to wellness can begin.

THE PLAN IS TO FIND A PIECE OF LAND LARGE ENOUGH TO ACCOMMODATE ALL WE WANT TO DO WITH THE FARM AS WELL AS HAVING OUR PERSONAL HOME ON THE PROPERTY. WE ALSO WANT TO BE CLOSE TO A MAJOR AIRPORT AND MEDICAL FACILITIES. THE AREAS THAT ARE BEST DO NOT HAVE PROLONGED WINTERS. WE WANT TO HAVE A LONG GROWING SEASON AND WEATHER THAT ALLOWS PEOPLE TO ACCESS THE FARM MOST OF THE YEAR.

1. Farm area. My horses, chickens, honey bees etc. and space for a few rescue animals. This will also be an example of Natural Horse Keeping and our business "Connected Barn" (using internet-connected devices throughout the entire farm to monitor all functions of the farm -including the health and well being of the people at the farm along with the animals). My husband and I want the farm to be a self sufficient as possible. We are looking into wind power, solar power and many other ideas. I don't want a natural disaster to cripple the farm

2. Training area for my work with horses as well as a round pen for people to be one on one therapeutically with the horses.

3. A "BUNK" HOUSE/HOUSES TO PROVIDE LODGING FOR THOSE THAT COME IN FOR WEEKEND SEMINARS.

4. CO-OP GARDEN. I AM INTERESTED IN HYDROPONICS TO PROVIDE FOOD YEAR ROUND. THE CO-OP GARDEN WILL HAVE THOSE THAT BUY A MONTHLY ALLOTMENT OF FOOD AND THOSE THAT WORK FOR THAT ALLOTMENT. I AM ALSO INTERESTED IN THE FARM 'THE FARM BOX SYSTEM' WHICH IS DESIGNED TO FEED 150 PEOPLE WITH ONLY TWO ACRES.

5. A nonprofit "village" of tiny homes to offer a place for those that have lost their homes due to illness. Animals can come as well. I would like a square of four to five homes. Goal to have each small home donated. There will be a grassy area in the center with a screened in gazebo so people can sit and get fresh air. Anyone that comes to live must also work on the farm. Does not have to be physical labor but being a part of something, feeling useful is important. Helping others stops us from focusing on our own negative thoughts.

5. A light filled area for our seminars, weekends and weekly classes. Guest speakers, healers, yoga instructors etc. will work here. Our goal will be to work in harmony with the commitment to help people to find their purpose, their passion and a life they love.

6. A store for any products  we think help. The goal here will be to keep prices as low as possible. It is amazing how expensive it is to "heal" a body and nothing is covered by insurance. I want to offer things that I know have really helped me and others at a good price.

7. I would also like to be able to have homes for those that want to live at the farm as a permanent member. I would like the farm to continue after my death so it would be helpful to have those that want to continue the work.

Of course the property will be beautiful with gardens, walking paths, meditation areas, swings, places to rest and hopefully a simple chapel. I have lots of ideas.

I do have people that want to be a part of the farm. My sister in law that is a yoga instructor and studying holistic nutrition. My husband who is a life coach and specializes in helping people create new career paths. There are others that have created miracles in their own healing and have much to offer to others. My best friend who is a dog and horse trainer as well as a licensed sports trainer.  There is also a loving base of people that I know that are in support of our mission.

This is a high-level summary of ideas formed over the years by myself, my husband and from conversations with friends and other interested parties that are excited about the farm's value.  As with life, the features and functions of the farm are ever-changing and the core focus and goals remain the same - to provide an environment for healing, community and for unlimited possibilities.

This is my goal, my passion and my purpose.

Sue
