born in 1975 about the time when Lyme was discovered in Lyme Connecticut with an out break of arthritis, by the early 80's i began to have severe growing pains and a stiff neck.  We played outdoors from dusk to dawn pulling ticks off left and right, back then we were taught to burn them. Through high school, I continued in my sporting career but found myself often at the ER with my neck completely unable to walk from the crippling effects of what I find out as Defenetive Disc Disease in my very early twenties. Needing surgery (2 seperate occasions two separate disc)to takeout the disc that ended up in my spinal chord, I resumed life in the outdoors. Pregnant with my second child I was bit, bullseye Drs tested I came back negative, they chose no treatment (which I was ignorant to false negative) Yes my daughter tests positive on Elisa and only one band WB band 41, she is currently on medication for seizures and has a reaction to many antibiotics.

Many other diagnosis later RA, fibromyalgia, chronic Fatigue, then I ended up with encephalitis/meningitis old/new Lyme. I am two years later still struggling from this disease to get it under control so it doesn't own me anymore. I have tried everything and slowly making ground. vitC and Glutithion infusions along with various antibiotic and herbal protocols always taking high doses of probiotics and eating as well as I can. I currently own my own business unable to do what I need.  But it gives me the strength knowing people rely on me to be here to keep going. My children were pivital in me fighting because each and everyday  my body could just stop. For now I must fight as I know the chances of my children being effected in some degree. I have to find hope, help, cure, management and peace.
