I first had symptoms of MCS in 1975, after walking barefoot across a lawn that had been sprayed with a weedkiller. Not sure if it was Roundup, but Roundup is a big problem for me now. Then around 2000 I had to get a quote for repairs to a car that was badly damaged at the back. That meant about an hour of driving and I thought I was going to die from the exhaust fumes that were coming into the car. After that, I worked as a cleaner for around 10 years, and was sick constantly. Eventually, in 2012, a new doctor diagnosed MCS, after years of being told I needed antidepressants.
