living with Narcolepsy and Cataplexy

My mom always told the Dr's that something was wrong because I would sleep alot, everywhere, anytime and no matter what I was doing. Finally after a year and a half they decided to go ahead and do a sleep study. August of 2014 they told us that I have Narcolepsy and in October of 2014 they diagnosed me with Cataplexy. None of this is fun but I'm managing to stay strong and fight! I'm a bowler and an avid soccer player. Playing these sports it's like I'm in therapy or its like taking a medication. It helps me stay strong and fight harder,I will NOT allow these diseases to take over my life! As of right now I've been told that I won't be able to get my license but that's okay things might change but if not life still goes on. I hope to help others and spread more awareness about my conditions to help others understand it.
