Story about Takayasus Arteritis .

My daughter

Nov 24, 2015

My 17 year old daughter was just recently diagnosed with TAK.  After seeing 3 doctors in 8 days for severe pain, finally took her to the ER where they ran the CT, diagnosed her with vasculitis and transferred us to children's hospital.  After multiple blood tests and an MRI from chin to pelvis, rheumatology finally had it narrowed down to this. She is in her senior year of high school, taking classes at the community college, has worked since she was 16 (on her own accord).
