Story about Vitiligo .

Where the sun hadn't got to

Apr 12, 2016

I discovered these white patches last year at the age of 50 while I was on holiday sunbathing. I thought it was just where the sun hadn't got to my skin as it was around my neck under hairline and under my arms. When I got back home my daughter said " mum I think you've got Vitiligo". I'd never heard of it but after visit to doctor it was confirmed.

Ive just finished treatment with protopic and I bought my own narrowband lamp as this wasn't available on NHS. Well I haven't  seen any improvement so yesterday I went back to doctor who is referring me back to skin clinic.
