How did all start?

Pain in the stomache. Fever for over a week.

Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?

About one week. Biopsi on the second day at the hospital and day six at the hospital we starten cytostatics treatment.

What has been the most useful thing for you so far?

nausea medicine, probe tube, pain killers.

What have been your biggest difficulties?

Nausea. Not feeling the legs. Taste of food.

How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?

Not yet. My mother had helpt us out very much. Difficult has been those who compared child cancer with adult cancer or self lived experience. No one exept I, know what Im going throug.

What things have you stopped doing?

Drinking a glass of wine friday night. I must be able to drive if the fever comes. Shopping, dont feel like I need anything.

What do you think about the future?

One day at the time.

What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?

Work. Get into my everyday life.

If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?

In prision with the desise.

Finally, what advice would you give to a person in a similar situation?

Cry, get angy, scream. It will be okay in the end.
