How did all start?
Suggested it may have been caused by faulty air conditioning at work, but unsbstantiated
Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?
Yes, it was 12 years ago but as far as I can remember a relatively short time.
For what medical specialties have you been treated? What has been the most useful specialty for your?
Micology
What has been the most useful thing for you so far?
Anti fungal drugs
What have been your biggest difficulties?
Breathing
How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?
Social relationships have weakened due to difficulty of meeting people, but my family relationships have been much strengthened
What things have you stopped doing?
Innumerable things but have managed generally to replace physical activity with sedatory ones and have avoided boredom and depression
What do you think about the future?
Having had a few frightening experiences very pleased to have one which i am facing with hope and confidence
So far, which years have been the best years in your life? What have you done during them?
Most of my years have been good for different reasons, so I would not like to specify any period specifically
What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?
Travel
If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?
Like most people I would imagine, periods of high and low, but generally the highs have it
Finally, what advice would you give to a person in a similar situation?
Create something to do in the future be it a day out, a short break or even a meal out, take pleasure in planning it, Even if it does not actually come to fruition you have given yourself a purpose, and the next plan may be successful. Always create something to look forward to
