How did all start?
Numerous chest infections / exacerbated asthma , about 2 years after moving house into a very damp bungalow

Yes , 18 months

What has been the most useful thing for you so far?
Being in touch with a professor in the field
What have been your biggest difficulties?
Recognition of the disease and the unfortunate fact that it is immune to the treatment
How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?
As I still work full time I am exhausted and therefore unable to see friends as I’d like anymore . My husband is worried sick as we witnessed my dad die of this . We have moved house to reduce cost incase one of us needs to stop working . I was really fit and have stopped all excercose due to exhaustion

Very scared and uncertain

My 20’s and 30’s as I went to uni and had my family
What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?
Travel and continue to exercise
If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?
Very uncertain as my disease varies daily , take each day at a time
Finally, what advice would you give to a person in a similar situation?
Seek expert help as local hospitals don’t know enough about this condition to treat it
