deal with the consequences of lung problems

How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?

I actually have no family

What things have you stopped doing?

stopped drinking alcohol, smoking, changed my diet

What do you think about the future?

I try not to think about it, thoughts of possible kidney cancer upset me

So far, which years have been the best years in your life? What have you done during them?

The best years in my life were before the first pneumothorax. Unfortunately I reached no much in my life, before the disease changed everything. You always think you have a whole life ahead….

What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?

Climb Everest

If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?

I was just unlucky, but I have to live even with such a bad prognosis.

Finally, what advice would you give to a person in a similar situation?

“Do what you need and come what may”
