Story about CRPS Complex Regional Pain Syndrome , Lyme Disease.

Shattered knee left leg

Dec 2, 2

I WAS 14, PLAYING DDODGEBALL AT CHURCH.  I TOOK A STEP FORWARD AND MY KNEE SHATTERED.  THE SWELLING AND DISCOLORATION NEVER WENT AWAY AND MY KNEE HAD TO BE DRAINED AND I HAD TO HAVE CLEARANCE FROM A NEUROLOGIST FOR THE EXTREME PAIN AND INABILITY TO SLEEP AND MEMORY LOSS BEFORE ARTHROSCOPIC SURGERY WOULD BE PERFORMED.  AFTER SURGERY AND MUCH THERAPY, MY INJURY WOULDN'T IMPROVE.  I HAD NO CARTILAGE IN MY KNEE SO THE SURGEON DID HIS BEST.  IT WAS 9 MONTHS BEFORE I WAS DIAGNOSED.  I WAS TREATED AT BOSTON CHILDREN'S PPRC AND CONTINUED WITH THERAPIES FOR 3-4 DAYS A WEEK.  I HAVE POTS, NEUROPATHY AND PATELLA FEMORAL SYNDROME AMONG OTHER DIAGNOSIS.
