RSDS/CRPS is a Journey

My name is Tracee and I am 36. I live in northeast Ohio. At the age of two I began ballet dancing. It was my life! At 15 years old I was injured and needed knee surgery. Immediately after I woke up from surgery I knee something wasn't right. Two weeks later I was diagnosed with RSDS. By summer I was in remission but needed to have my other knee opetated on. This time the rsds came back worse than ever. To make a long story short...pump was implanted at the age of 19. I have had 4 more pump implants since. The most recent surgery was june 2015. Up til this surgery I was managing my pain well. However, my luck had run out and after surgery in june my entire life was turned upside down. I went from having rsd in both legs to it spreading to my left arm and hand. I am really scared but try to stay positive. I sleep 18.hours a day, super sensitive to light, sound, smell. My heart races, when I stand up I black out, my bp jumps really high as does my heart rate. It's like being diagnosed with rsd all over again but im older now and the symptoms are different. Thanks to my friends and family I am getting through it.
