How did all start?
I beleive I have chronic fatigue syndrome / chronic pain symptoms back at school but in 2010 I had motorbike accident and 2011 I had a second and my grandfather was seriously I'll and I was working long hours and in 2013 It came to a head when I could no longer do what I could.
Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?
i got in 2015 it took 5 years to convince someone to listen
For what medical specialties have you been treated? What has been the most useful specialty for your?
i have tried medication and pacing and cbt.
Medication helps
What has been the most useful thing for you so far?
Medication as without it is be bed ridden
What have been your biggest difficulties?
coming to terms with the loss of my job and living with the pain. Feeling like a failure to my family.
How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?
Yes struggle really my family have tried but I think they don't know how to help no more
What things have you stopped doing?
i have stopped going to events and working and swimming.
What do you think about the future?
I hope we find a cure and I can return to work.
What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?
id be at work and saving for a house.
Finally, what advice would you give to a person in a similar situation?
Dont give up and keep pushing you will find someone who will listen.
