How did all start?
10 years before I was diagnosed, I knew there was a problem as I couldnt come downstairs without holding onto a rail.
Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?
Yes! 10 Years.
For what medical specialties have you been treated? What has been the most useful specialty for your?
I am being treated for HSP.
What have been your biggest difficulties?
Not being able to run jump or skip!
How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?
I dont have a social life as I fall a lot even before Prosecco.
My Family pity me.
What things have you stopped doing?
Socialising!
I only venture out when it is absolutely necessary.
What do you think about the future?
One day at a time!
So far, which years have been the best years in your life? What have you done during them?
I was an excellent gymnast before I knew any of this!
What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?
Go back to gym & keep very fir!
If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?
Im restricted.
Finally, what advice would you give to a person in a similar situation?
Get a great sense of humour.
