Very late diagnosis.

I've spent most of my life not knowing I actually had a medical condition. I just thought I wasn't very hairy, or muscular, and struggled with my weight. I knew In my 30s I couldn't have children but just thought itvwas "one of those things". Looking back now, I realise I have had periods of depression. It was only after a camping trip when I felt exceptionally cold I thought I may have had a thyroid isdue so had it checked. Indeed my thyroxine level was low so I started taking levothyroxine. As it is a hypopituitary condition I asked my gp to have my testosterone level to be checked at the same time as my follow up test for T3/TSH. Sure enough my Test level was almost zero and so I was, at 56 years old, referred to an endo who diagnosed CHH ( same as KS without the anosmia). I'm now 3 months into using testosterone gel, still increasing dosage at a slow rate and only just starting to observe minor physical changes. However my mood is improved and I'm happy to at last be receiving treatment.
