How did all start?
Fat pads growing on inside of knees. Causing pants to be to tight.
Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?
Yes, two months and many tests and several doctors.
For what medical specialties have you been treated? What has been the most useful specialty for your?

Everything was good
Cardiologist knew what lipedema was and diagnosed me. But he does not know how to treat it so I did not stay with him
What has been the most useful thing for you so far?
Change diet

Can’t afford health care insurance or health care for the disease

How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?
They are sorry I’m dealing with it

Stopped eating all sugars except a rare cheat every once in a while
Stopped eating all processed food
What do you think about the future?
I am scared my legs will continue to get worse and it will affect my job and maybe eventually my ability to walk
