In 2004 I was pregnant and in college.I started to drop everything all the time.Finally I asked to bring a recorder to school as I could not write all of a sudden.They denied my request. I had to drop out of nursing school after a year.I was diagnoses with Carpel Tunnel at first. Well gave birth to my baby girl and it got worse.I could not even change her diaper.Everything that touched my wrist made me scream.I went on like this for years searching for an answer.Finally after 6 doctors and 5 years later I was finally diagnosed with Kienbocks Disease. 2 months later I had PRC surgery and it did wonders for me.However 6 months later I started having the same troubles with my other hand.I was then diagnosed with an even rarer form of the disease as Bilateral Kienbocks Disease. I went on to not have the surgeries I needed.I was then diagnoses over the years with Avascular Necrosis in 7 joints now.Avasculat Necrosis is the same thing as Kienbocks however Kienbocks is the name for the lunate. Your bones are cut off from the blood supply and they die.Well the yrs go by and I was supposed to use a wheelchair as of 6 years ago but I have refused. I started having so many more problems one after another and always sick and miserable. I just recently found out I have Lupus, RA,MS and Sjogrens. My 15 year old daughter was just diagnosed with Schloederma, Mixed Connective Tissue Disorder, RA and Lupus. My 20 year old was just diagnosed with Lupus and RA as well along with a thyroid autoimmune disease. I finally got answers for us all but it is not what I expected but we wake up each morning ready to take on the world.
