Angela's Lyme Nightmare

I got bit by the Lyme Tick on Memorial Day Weekend 2014. I was doing yard work and other household projects. I noticed the tick on my hip in the shower. Pulled it off and let it go down the drain. Didn't think anything about it. I did not get the bullseye rash. About 1-2 weeks post bite, I was experiencing joint pain and had developed an EM rash on my legs, left arm and back. I looked online for pictures of my rash that looked like mine. When I found it, it was on a Lyme site. I went to see my doctor the next day and he tested me using Western Blot but told me he didn't think it was Lyme. Well,  it was. I was on Doxy for 28 days. Joint pain improved greatly. Brain fog improved some - it still comes and goes. I continued to be very tired and felt poorly overall. Went to an LLMD and got a spinal tap October 2014. It came back clean. That's good to know the virus isn't in my CSF however, when I asked the doctor well, what next he said "sometimes it takes a long time before you will start feeling better". I did not accept that! In March of 2015 after much research I began using essential oils to help manage my condition. I use oil blends for cellular support, etc. I also use detox methods such as oil pulling, and diatomaceous earth (when needed). I had started into an all orgnic diet prior to contracting Lyme but through my research have become rather militant about it and am currently eating roughly a 95% all organic intake. I use no chemical household products - clean all naturally, laundry, dishwashing, personal hygiene etc. I feel it has helped quite a bit. I work from  home and drive very little. Driving wipes me out anymore. Even the shortest trips will require a short nap to recover once I return home. I sleep roughly 8-10 hours a night and nap when needed. I wish this would have never happened. That's all I can think of for now.
