Story about Panhypopituitarism .

Michel's life

Apr 18, 2016

In 1985 I had a large tumor removed from my pituitary gland.  The drs wanted me to have radiation but I declined. Almost died twice in the next 6 months. Tumor grew back and had to have radiation.  6 weeks. Surgery/ radiation destroyed my total pituitary and brain stem. Had 3rd tumor removed in 2013 a menignoma. Possibly caused by radiation. Now live on medication - replacement and others.  Cognitive difficulties now along with other issues. But I am alive and I can see and hear and walk and talk! I have my own home based sewing business. I have a great husband, grown daughter, step son, daughter in love and 2 grandbabies who are 17 and 19. Yes I am panhypopituitary but I am a fighter and keep putting one foot in front of the other.  Yesterday is history,  tomorrow a mystery,  today is a gift that's why it's called the present.  Treasure your gift.
