Laying in bed I do my own breast exams. October of 2015 found a lump close to chest wall. Went through all the tests. Diagnosed with Phyllodes in late December. Tumor had grown 3X the size from when I first found it. Tumor removed January 2016 with reconstruction surgery, confirmed malignancy.
Reconstructive surgeon did not put in drains to incision site, 2 weeks after surgery I was in hospital with multiple pulmonary embolisms. Also developed a hematoma, which caused a second surgery.
