How did all start?
a lump formed on my arm. doctors thought it was lymphoma. after several scans, blood tests and a biopsy they eventually (after months) diagnosed the sarcoidosis.
Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?
it took almost 3 months for diagnosis
For what medical specialties have you been treated? What has been the most useful specialty for your?

What has been the most useful thing for you so far?
my specialists and family are very supportive.
What have been your biggest difficulties?
pain management through activities. getting up to do things when my body is feeling too sore .
How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?
people in my immediate family are very supportive. people outside of that dont seem to understand the implications of the desease or how the chronic pain affects one or how debilitating it can be.
What things have you stopped doing?
not much...life goes on.
What do you think about the future?
i look forward to feeling better but do worry that it may get worse before it gets better.
So far, which years have been the best years in your life? What have you done during them?
hard to say. life has been good to me. i have 3 wonderful children and could want for nothing

im doing it.

a long story

reat when u can, be kind to yourself and try to do things that make you feel good
