All My Life

Aug 3, 2016

At 6 weeks old I began exhibiting symptoms. I was hospitalized so many times as a small child, my mom lost count. At 7 years old a specialist saw me and immediately knew the problem. After 7 years of fighting, we finally had an answer. Episodes continued regularly, starting in the middle of the night and lasting up to 48 hours. When I became a teenager, migraines kicked in and I had lesser frequent episodes, even going on complete remission for 2 years. But the headaches were gruesome. When I turned 18 the episodes came back just as they had been before, however they are occurring less often, but more violently. Headaches still bother me a lot.
