How did all start?
I was born with ehlers danlos syndrome but started to suffer when i was 8yrs old
Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?
I was diagnosed as hypermobile as a child but recently diagnosed with ehlers danlos syndrome
For what medical specialties have you been treated? What has been the most useful specialty for your?
Ive been seen by rheumatologist, neurologists and physiotherapist recently, the rheumatologist and neurologist were lovely and helpful although the physiotherapist was spiteful and i actually left in tears halfway through the treatment
What has been the most useful thing for you so far?
Laughter and not giving in
What have been your biggest difficulties?
Getting people to understand
How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?
My children and grandchildren all suffer to different degrees
What things have you stopped doing?
I try to do a little of everything just to push myself
What do you think about the future?
Im hoping that the future brings a cure so others no longer suffer

My childhood before pain took over
