My Chronic illness story

Jun 25, 2016

By: Emily

Hi everyone, my name is Emily, I'm 16 and I'm from Wylie TX. I was diagnosed with type one diabetes when I was 5 years old. At the age of 10 I started experiencing severe abdominal pain for a while they didn't know what it was. When I was 14 I had a exploratory surgery and they found out I have endometriosis and adenomyosis. I have had 8 surgeries in the past 2 years. After a few surgeries for my endometriosis they told me I have an adhesion related disorder and that's why I'm in so much pain daily. I haven't found any relief or anything that helps it. I'm also in the diagnostic process for POTS as I may also have that. I do have quit a few medical issues but I try to make the best of bad situations like I have my health Instagram it's like a blog and I also have a chronic illness YouTube channel so I can help others going through similar things.
