A Intracranial Hypertension story

Aug 2, 2016

I was diagnosed with idiopathic intracranial hypertension in November 2015 after papillodoema was found at a routine optician appoint September 2015. I've had several lumbar punctures to drain fluid and tried medications to lower pressure but had trouble with side effects. I had a VP Shunt fitted on 11th May this year and although it has helped some symptoms I'm still having visual disturbances. I also have quite severe sciatica and a bulging disc that causes problems. I'm married but have no children of my own although my hubby has kids from a previous marriage....my niece and nephew are my world as are Hubby's grandkids (he is 16years older than me) we have been together 8 years married almost 3 xxx
