Pan hypopituitarism

Oct 26, 2017

Year Condition Began: 1986

I’m the eldest of 5,

My first memory of my condition was headaches in the playground, vision loss, constant thirst & need to visit the toilet, peers having more energy & being taller than myself,

I was diagnosed @ age of 11 years,
Had surgery to remove a Craniopharyngioma Tumour, due to the size of the Tumour my Pituitary Gland was also removed,

2 years later I had a regrowth and received 30 days of Radiotherapy treatment,

I’m taking all hormone replacement medicine which includes eltroxin, hydrocortisone, Nordurine, Growth Hormne...

I’m now 37 and am Area Coordinator for The Pituitary Foundation Ireland
