Year Condition Began: 2016

i started to have few series of eye redness few years back (2016) and GP not able to precisely diagnose it as RP.
on 2017, eye redness gone but i faced few times of ear flares and pain. it affected my ear cartilage. it happens about 1 week and repeated after 3-4mths cycle. most of the GP i consulted, diagnosed as the infection from my cats ( i told doc i got few pets). each time i got ear flares, i'll seek for the same clinic so that i can trace my medical history. started end of 2017, the frequency of my ear flares increase from once 3-4 mths to like once every mth. it came into package where i also have pain at my fingers (swollen at joints). so do my barefoot. i'm not able to walk as the pain is like u step on a needle.
after few series of consultation from the same clinic, a young doctor told me that i have symptoms for RP, and i was referred to the Rhematologist and was diagnosed to have autoimmune disease RP. now i'm at early stage, i need to take lower dose of methotrexate, consume once per weekly. this MTX will slower down my RP autoimmune and i'm not sure how long i'll need to take MTX since the side effect is quite scary.
