A Cholesteatoma story

Apr 10, 2016

Won't bore you with my dull medical history. Will say that it seems I am luckier than most, in that I have no day to day symptoms & I was able to swim, snorkel & even dive in some beautiful oceans before the disease was diagnosed.
I felt fearful & very anxious when first diagnosed, but am fine with it now - the deafness is annoying at times, both for me & my family, but I feel grateful for the diagnosis, & the careful monitoring, which should keep me healthy & around for my family for many years to come. There are far worse diseases to have, & I try not to give it much thought on a day to day basis. Thanks for listening
